Call of Duty: World World II is a Military-based First-person Shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One. The game serves as the fourteenth title in the long-running series of Call of Duty and it is the first title in the series to be set during World War II since Call of Duty: World at War, released in 2008.
What’s new in Call of Duty: World War II?
The game comes with a new campaign, taking place in the European Theater and it revolves around a squad in the first Infantry Division, following their brutal battles on the Western Front, and it takes place in the historical events of Operation Overlord. You control the protagonist named as Ronald Daniels, who has teammates that can supply you with extra health, ammunition, or weaponry, none of these items are replenished in the campaign. A multiplayer mode also comes with this edition, which introduces new map locations not seen in the campaign. The mode has a new Divisions System, modifying the create-a-class system that previous title in the series used. The Headquarter was also utilized in the game, enabling for you to interact with other players from all over the world.
The developers of the game were interested in introducing the series back to WWII after creating their previous game, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in 2014, which has a rather futuristic settings. We all know how that was received.
Campaign
Call of Duty: World War II acts as the first title since the original title and Call of Duty 2: Big Red One not to introduce health regeneration system in the campaign. During the game play, you need to find health packs scattered across levels, or rely on your teammate to offers health pack for you. Other members of your team can offer grenades, ammunition, spot enemies, call strikes, or uncover their position. In specific areas of the game, opposing team members or enemies in the campaign can be captured, and wounded allies can be dragged to cover. In certain parts of the game, you are capable of controlling vehicles to cover long distance within a few minutes.
Multiplayer Mode
The Multiplayer mode of the game was revealed in 2017, which took place from June 13-15. The developers of the game announced prominent features such as the headquarters special space, war mode, divisions, and the return to Boots-on-the-ground gameplay. The players who per-ordered the video game were able to participate in closed beta version, which was revealed initially for PS4, and later released for other platforms.
In Online Matches, you are randomly assigned either to Axis or Allies side. On the Axis side, you play as the Wehrmacht with an objective to avoid Nazi extremists. On Allies side, you can play as a soldier in Soviet, British, American, or French Resistance armies.
The game allows you to choose one of five different divisions each with its unique combat training, weapon skills, and division training. During the gameplay, you need to proceed through ranks in divisions to use further perks, additionally, to a global perk system known as Basic Training.

The supporting cast of amazing personalities dramatically improves the narrative. They directly help you during the combat, depending on your needs and performance. In the game, your best companion named as Robert Zussman takes care of your health and supplies while the helpful Drew Stiles ensures you have enough weaponry to compete against enemies. Call of Duty World War 2 is the first title in CoD series in years that doesn’t need to apologize about anything.
