There’s something about giant leaps, solving puzzles, jumping off cliffs and shooting up your enemies that gamers appreciate, and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has got all the bases covered. No gaming news website would be doing its job if it didn’t highlight this latest addition to the Uncharted series.
What’s New in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
If you’ve followed the story from all five previous Uncharted games, then you’ll be in for a nice change with this latest AAA spin-off. In Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, we say goodbye to protagonist Nathan Drake to make room for the witty bad-ass Chloe Frazer. With the help of former Uncharted series antagonist Nadine Ross, Frazer makes her way through fictional war-torn India for her quest. The pair alternatively pauses to solve puzzles, climb over edges and hop over ledges as they search for the Tusk of Ganesha. The game gets heated when a megalomaniac warlord joins in the fun, putting obstacles and sending out minions to put an end to Frazer and Ross.
The Good
One striking thing about this PlayStation-exclusive game is the graphics. The primary team really did a number on the technical and visual effects on it, making it one of the most realistic (and intense) games on the market. It almost makes it worth the price tag. However, what takes the day is the cutthroat dialogue that makes the seven-hour game witty, interesting and most of all, fun.
The Shaky
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, like all its predecessors, involves the same challenges, the same obstacles, and the same power-ups. Frazer might be new to the game, but Drake’s Rope and ridiculous fall-of-a-cliff scenes have been around for a long time.
Conclusion
With a $40 price tag, It seems a bit much. However, if you’re into striking story-driven adventure stories, it’s a no-brainier.
